Following recent tragic events that you may have heard about on the news, Quinn Property Services is writing to all of its Landlords encouraging them to install a hard wired Carbon Monoxide Detector in their properties. A Carbon monoxide detector is a device that detects the presence of CO gas in order to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. CO is a colourless, tasteless and odourless. It is often referred to as the “silent killer” because it is virtually undetectable without the current technology available.
Jonathan from Quinn Property Services comments “ We feel that due to recent events highlighted on the news that this is an opportunity to encourage all landlords to take the necessary steps to prevent any more such tragedies” he continues “many people have commented to me recently that they don’t need to worry about CO because they do not have gas in there homes, however this is far from the truth, Carbon Monoxide is produced from the burning of carbon based fuels, including Gas, Oil, wood and coal”. Anyone wishing to enquire about the installation of a detector should contact Quinn Property Services on 02897564166 for a free Quote and advice.
